Since 1993, Nita Evans has been a marriage and family Christian counselor and is owner of Confidential Christian Counseling in Columbus, Indiana. She travels nationally as a retreat and conference speaker and is a police chaplain and a contributing columnist for her hometown newspaper, The Republic.

Nita is a natural disaster relief counselor working with emotional and spiritual needs. She is also author of the 40 day devotional, Legacy of Faith: Walking with Jesus Come What May.

Nita's husband, Dave, passed away from early onset Alzheimer's in 2013. She has two daughters, one son-in- law, one grandson, and two granddaughters.

Her deep desire is to encourage others in their walk with Jesus Christ.
