Since 1992, Nita Evans has been a Christian counselor in private practice in Columbus, Indiana. Her husband, Dave, passed away in 2013. Nita’s family includes two daughters, their husbands and three grandchildren.

Nita is the owner of Confidential Christian Counseling and travels nationally as a retreat and conference speaker—speaking on various subjects. She is a past religion columnist for The Republic newspaper and past radio/podcast host of The Chat with Nita Evans. She is rated in the top ten female podcasters in the state of Indiana by FeedSpot.

Nita’s ministry work includes nation wide natural disaster relief, where she works with the emotional and spiritual needs of those suffering trauma. She also provides crisis counseling in her role as a Columbus City Police Chaplain.

Nita has published two books. The first one, Legacy of Faith, is a 40 day devotional. Her most recent book, Let’s Chat, is filled with 54 daily inspirations. It in stores throughout Southern Indiana and can be ordered through this website on the Author page.

Evidenced throughout Nita’s ministries is her deep desire to lift the name of Jesus high and encourage all believers to be obedient to Him in all areas in their walk with Him!
